Locust Grove, is a joke, The staff doesn't take care of the residents like they should. Half of the residents don't even get cleaned up so they sit in wet clothes all day. They staff there has no respect for the residents... They don't take the time with the residents, they put on an act when there are family members there. 2nd shift, is really bad, they don't talk to the residents, they argue with the residents, and they have so many residents, that they don't take the time to actually feed them the whole meal... I wouldn't take my worst enemy to this facility.

This facility had some very good staff, and for that I am thankful. However, the staff always seemed short handed and overworked. The overhead seemed to have very little respect for their employees. The food was the same menu items day after day, and the quality of the food was rather poor.

Be ready for a shock when you walk thru the front door. It reminded me of a chapel in an airport located in Europe. The staff seems overworked and unhappy to be there. I guess it takes a special person to work in any adult retirement establishment. Most are friendly but a few seem like they have no idea what they are there to do. I was shocked by the number of people in the hallways and lobbies. They sometimes seem more occupied than the rooms. The interior is crying for a refreshment makeover. Dated, very, very dated.

They would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.

Yes, they were informing me of new advancements that were extremely recent
