My brother was at Hill Country they took very good care of him He passed this month they were very sweet to me and my son and gave great comfort !!

The health care employees who do the actual work - the CNAs - are resigning far too frequently. Abusive staff and requirements to work double shifts, way too much OT and on days off. CNAs have resigned after being accused of abuse. Never a chance to tell their version of it. I knew one who worked there for over one year, was Employee of the Month twice, volunteered to work double shifts and on days off when needed, and was accused of abusing an elderly patient by wiping his mouth after he drooled all over himself while trying to eat. It seems to be the pattern of how they treat the CNAs - if there for more than a year they accuse them of something so they will quit and won't have to give them a pay raise. If there was actual abuse of a patient there would be charges filed against these people, but none have been. They just force them to resign. The word is out - and newly certified CNAs are starting to ignore this place for employment.

My aunt has been there for about 14 months and was at first very satisfied, but lately they are having problems with CNAs resigning at an alarming rate. I asked one what the problem was and she told me that the head nurse is abusive and that caused a couple of the CNAs to quit. No one was hired to replace them, so now some of the CNAs have to work double shifts, even on days off. This has caused more of them to quit. I see care problems down the road if this is not corrected soon.

Extremely easy, and close to the entrance

Absolutely, they always make me feel like I'm their only client.
