Caused family member to miss doctor's appointments. Was without oxygen needed when power went down for several hours, no backup generator. Took him to small local hospital when he took turn for the worse while knowing the small hospital didn't have the equipment needed for his care. Finally took him to major hospital put in ICU but died several hours later because of poor care. Went to pick up his possessions and they tried not to give us his own personal wheelchair. They had covered up his name on chair and we had to ask several times for his chair. Before this when we we allowed to visit with him outside, the aide stood by us almost the whole time like we were going to run off with him so there was no privacy in our conversation. Terrible place if your family member is sick. They only want the money.

As soon as I was wheeled into the Center an awful smell it me right in the face. The smell was so strong it made me want to puke. I was taken to E Hall which is isolation Hall for two weeks due to COVID 19 and put in a room that holds up to 4 beds. There was only three beds in there at the time and I was the only patient. They left the room and didn't even tell me anything about the facility. They introduce themselves or anything. Two of the employees finally came in and told me their names. They were really nice but told me not to use the call light because the won't answer it. They then started horsing around with each other and left the room. I curled up in a ball and cried asking what I had agreed to. I told my husband I had made the biggest mistake of my life. They would leave sit hours in my stool before they would empty bag. They told me they were sorry they didn't empty ileostomy bags there when I told them mine was to be changed every two days. I told them that and therapy were the whole reason I was sent there and then she finally changed it. The first two days of me staying they didn't give me my seizure medicine at night because it wasn't convenient for them. And reminding I kept asking for it and they said I was getting all my meds. The third night I said something the third time and she looked it up in the computer and then looked in the cabinet. Sure enough the medicine was in the container still for the first two days. They didn't even take it out to make it look like they gave it to me. They were suppose to be changing my dressing on my wounds that were just infected right before which is why I had come from the hospital. I had to beg them to change my dressing and sometime it only got changed once instead of twice. One day I asked the nurse if she was going to go ahead and change it since she was in there and I was wanting to go to bed. She told me it wasn't on her agenda. My dressing didn't get changed till the next day at supper time. That means it had been almost 48 hours since it had been change. My stool is now putting off a really odd odor and my diet hasn't changed. The care takers noticed and told the nurses with me telling the nurses. The nurse told the doctor and he told the nurse it wasn't his problem. That he was going to recheck my levels to see if they are going back up or check to see if I possibly had c diff since I had just been on several different antibiotics. Today I called my regular doctor that did the surgery and she called the health center telling them I needed to go to the ER. The nurse told them that I been seeing the doctor and that I was being monitored so my doctor let it go even though it was lies. After she hung up with them the nurse came down to my room and told me that me calling other people on her was ridiculous and uncalled for and then changed my bandage. I still have not gotten my bag changed and it is 11pm. I have been getting told since this morning that they were going to change it because it was past time to change my bag. I have been here a week and only had one shower and bedding changed one time.

I would not send my sick dog to this facility. It is the WORSE place ever. It is sad when the care takers tell me that it is not surprising that the nurses are not wanting to do crap and that this is a hell hole. I feel so bad for my room mate that I got on the second day of me being here because she just got a shower for the first time today and she has to live here the rest of her life. It takes them 3 hours to even get her a glass of ice water. She asked them three days ago to clean the hose to her catheter cause it was hurting and putting off a smell and they refused. They didn't even clean it in the shower. She won't be here long and she will be dead. They will make sure she dies quick with her cancer that she has had for years.

Has really gone downhill. Care is lacking. Place smells badly upon entering. Patient call lights go unanswered. My father is a resident and we are moving him out. Showers given sporadically and not on schedule, sometimes over a week. Urinal left unemptied in his room for days. Dirty linens left on bed. He had an injury with infection for days and no one noticed until family brought it to their attention when he complained of pain. He had been telling staff for quite some time. ER doctor advised he needed to be seen by a Dr. within a few days - it took over a week for them to call and schedule it. Understaffed and inattentive. Now that we have let them know we are moving him, they are being spiteful. He had an appointment to doctor today and their van driver was given a 2nd patient assignment so couldn't stay with him. He asked for an assistant to ride along and they refused and said to call his family - making my elderly mother meet them there to sit with my father until the van could return. Gossip going around the building about him leaving when the only people told were administration. Do NOT put your loved ones in here.

One of the first things I noticed about this business was the level of detail and attention to make the building handicap-accessible. Even the bathrooms were designed to be accessible with doors wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs and grab bars in the stalls. You could tell they really made an effort to accommodate people with all different needs. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them.
