HORRIBLE! This facility is only out for MONEY! Not only did I NOT receive the therapy I desperately needed but they are BILLING ME INSTEAD OF MY INSURANCE. I had and have insurance, as I did during my horrible stay here. They have had anonymous collectors call me (they stated they were calling to HELP me with my problem with Hammonds). I investigated the number they called from, which was New York, and found they were a collection agency. I have since had several harassing calls and LETTERS from another collection agency regarding the "every changing amount" they propose I owe them. This is totally ridiculous and has added tremendously to my anxiety. I tried calling the Administrator, Samantha Smith and the Director, "Michelle" to no avail. No one returned my calls nor responded to my messages to ascertain WHY they are not billing my insurance. I am presently reporting them to the Maryland Attorney General.

One star only because there was not a lesser option! The filth and horrid food will not kill you, but lack of management with nursing will! My loved one was sent there for rehab from hip surgery to only be left lying in the bed several days before taken to PT to do exercises in a wheelchair. Her requests for a shower took NINE days to get one, her repeated requests for medications and bathroom help ignored, was left multiple times urine soaked and even spent the night in feces resulting in a burning rash! Aide told me that there aren't enough linens and supplies to change a resident more than once a shift. Another aide responded to a call to let us know she had a meeting and would send somoene in, that never came in. The Nursing Director stood me up for a scheduled meeting and never returned my calls until a week after I transferred my loved one somewhere else. I can only imagine what happens to residents that don't have someone to advocate for them or visit daily! The Dr. there herself told me to get her out of there asap!

Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I also have to say the nurses genuinely seem to care about the patients and their familys...Both parents have stayed there as well as extended family...
