I am not a fan of nursing homes but I can tell you that the staff and Green Meadows cares about the residences. They worked with me through a long battle with Medicaid and have always been helpful.
They have come a long way in two years. I see improvements every week not only in the appearance, cleanliness, but in the nursing staff and CNA's.
All though, I wish I could bring him home, I know that he is being taken care of by the staff. They call me with very change to his treatments and are always available for questions.

The nurses and staff at Green Meadows in Mount Washington were professional, kind and helpful to my mother. They went out of their way to make her feel at home and nurse her back to health!!

Not at all! They are always respectful and courteous!

Definitely! I saw it as soon as I walked in!

They would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.

I worked there a few years ago and honestly, if you're thinking about putting your loved ones in someone elses care, this isn't the place to go.

Below are a list of a few reasons:

Call lights go unanswered, I've witnessed all staff walk right past them.

Most residents there don't get enough TLC (Tender Loving Care) Most of them are neglected. When I worked there I tried sitting down with a resident and I got yelled at by a Unit Manager.

Green Meadows makes thier staff work even if they are sick. There were plenty of instances of employees coming in throwing up and Green Meadows made them stay and work thier whole shift.

It's not extremly sanitary like most places should be, One of my daughter's friends is employed there and she has mentioned trash being stashed in some residents closets in the back because some of the staff were too lazy to put it in the proper location, and she has also mentioned water bugs roaming the building.


When I was there continent people would ring thier call lights and people would neglect that call light once more and by the time they got to that room that resident was soiled already.

They have already been shut down once. They are most likely to be shut down again. I don't recommend anyone to place thier loved ones in this facility.
