It is never easy to have to look for long term care facilities for a family member. Having gotten the reference of Clearview from another LVN in another facility that I wanted to move my Father out of. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the smell of the facility. Its locked facility so that my father could not wander off from. They have a nice sunny outdoor areas and other places with benches and tables to sit outside. They make sure to treat all their clients equally and without favoritism. They listened closely to everything I was telling them, and showed a lot of attention to detail. I bring clothes for him, and they are always laundred and tagged with his name, and never wind up being appropriated by other patients which is the habit at homes. The nurses keep him clean shaven and washed. They a are considerate as far as dietary considerations when it comes to feedings. I would recommend Clearview, at least to see what a higher standard facility should nurses to patients ratio is 5-6 patients to one nurse, other facilities are much higher 7-10- to 1 nurse.

I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to. Whenever I make an appointment, I'm always confident that they're going to be ready for me at my scheduled time. At other places I've been to, it's always bothered me when they postpone my appointment, but they've never done that here. Their primary concern is my safety and comfort, and they always take the time to address every concern of mine immediately. I felt very safe in their care. I definitely trust them. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. Due to the nature of Alzheimers/Dementia Care for a loved one, it is a stressfull process to find the best place. My husband is at Clearview and I find the office and nursing staff to be very proactive with all of my concerns, they have care plan meeting every three months with an excel spead sheet of ALL of activitys, health, weight, vitals and medications listed ,with any changes of all course for him. The facility is safe and locked with ample room to move around to go for a walk with staff to assist you, it smells good, it is clean, well maintaned and orderly. My Husand always to bathed, clean and shaved/haircut. The staff has been there along time, some for 10+yrs, that says something about high overturn not existing there which means that your loved one will get to feel familiar with the care staff. I will highly recommend Clearview!
