cabs nursing home as mush money as they charge there guest to live there they should be getting the best care as possible. staff are not very friendly or helpful. personal items are often missing. nursing home takes over every possession that they own bank accounts, pension, social security even the $50 a month allowance. and this dont even assure them of a perminent spot, they can loose their place very easily. my family member recently pass and after ten years no one at this facility paid there respect. at one time this was a good place but over ther years it has its faults, it is looking dirty and smells they really need to get it together because the elderly need as much attention & comfort like we do & more. staff should always make themselves available to answer questions if any family member needs answers. i never was able to meet the doctor that took care of my family member because he was never available & that is not acceptable. food should be prepared as if its fot them not for young people, hamberger for dinner is not what my grandparents want for dinner. activities should always be taking place. the staff are always found together at the lunch room gossiping while the tenants there are bored looking at each other or taking a nap where they sit. there were two nurses that were very kind but as many as there is they should all be friendly and go out of there way to make there tenants laugh & forget where they're at.
