In these days of uncertainty I am certain of one thing. My brother who is 76 and sustained a head injury & then a stroke has been well cared for and treated with dignity at this facility. I do not have friends working there. In fact, I live in the Des Moines area. I would recommend this nursing home to others.

They only listen to people who are friends of the director even if it means that their patients are going to die from lack of proper treatment. I will always considered this place as murders and never recommend them to anyone.

Over the past seven years, Brookhaven has cared for my parents, my mother alone for the past five. Wilma suffered from acute dementia. In my experience, the staff at Brookhaven went far beyond meeting her physical and mental needs; they embraced her in a loving home. They were timely sharing information to the two children, attentive to meet Wilma's medical and physical needs, and loving in their care. This is far more than we have come to expect out of nursing care facilities. Jack and Wilma Crosson helped found Brookhaven five decades ago, and Breookhaven served them well. Thank you, Brookhaven. And bless you all.
