My dad was there at one point. His care was mixed. He lost 17 pounds because if they brought him a tray and he didn't eat, he didn't eat. I went everyday because I wanted people there to know I cared. Many of the staff are good but many were lazy. Weekends were the worst. Lights on up and down the halls, nurses shooting the breeze at the nurses station. I was doing my dad's laundry but each week more of his clothes disappeared. I refused to buy more and asked the laundry people to find his clothes which had his name in them. The night before my dad died my brother was having to go through bags of clothes because the guy who was supposed to do it said he didn't have time.
Long term patients rarely get out. There are so many things that could happen positively here but it doesn't. I continue to visit there, having grown fond of some of the residents. Our elderly are so vulnerable and should receive nothing but the best of care. I realize many are difficult but sometimes the only way to get attention is to be difficult.

This is one of the worst I have seen the nurses sit at the nursestation all day while somebody is probably hurt or dying there staff is so stressed that they have so much to do they cant help you with anything I wouldn't even put my pet bird bernie in this pathetic place it stanks so bad ot will take ypur Breath away soon as you walk through the door all im saying is if you want your loved one taken care of than dont put them here their is 1 CNA to a hall and they cant even give them a Bath!! All im saying is if your reading this its very sad at this nursing home reconsider is a definite must this is not the place for your loved one if you really care about them they also have roachs and ants.

No, If I had known how terrible they were I never would have gone.

All the time! the waiting rooms are always packed and It seems as if they are more concerned about quantity over quality

No, but I can always find a seat

I'll definitely be going back. I didn't have a bad experience. I am always so impressed with how quickly my calls are answered here. I am never put on hold for a long time and love knowing that if I have a quick question I won't have to wait a half hour through terrible music to get it answered. The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment. I've been to other places that answer their phone and it just drives me crazy. They didn't pressure me to buy anything I didn't need, which I really appreciated. I've been to other places that pressured me to buy stuff and it always made me very uneasy. I love that I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. Other places I've visited, seem to give up after they don't have an answer for me the first time, but not here.
