There needs to be a zero stars option. They killed my father. They were rude, lazy, you could find them in the lounge watching tv at all times or gossiping about patients violating HIPAA. They’d argue with each other. Took hours to change briefs if they bothered. Food looked like crap I wouldn’t feed Warren’s rats, floors/walls/doors were disgusting. My dads stuff kept going missing. In fact they sent women’s clothes home when I demanded his belongings. I HAD TO TEACH THESE PEOPLE HOW TO DO THEIR JOB, I’m not a nurse but my dad developed sepsis from the infection they caused, so I had to teach nurses how to be nurses. They were vile and rude to patients and family. Never smiled nor helped. They’d leave him to sleep with feces all over his sheets cause it’s always someone else’s job who never appears. Ignore health complaints until they are extremely ill. Took him off needed heart meds and put him on a Med he WAS REMOVED FROM YEARS AGO DUE TO REACTIONS- wouldn’t give Med list. Only time they’d contact is if it involved money. Dad got very ill but we had no way of knowing cause his cell mysteriously disappeared and they wouldn’t return cAlls. Instead Of 911, they ignored him for some tv time and gossip. When they finally called 911 a month later, he was gone within 24 hours. He didn’t have a shot in hell in this dump. I’m sorry I ever trusted them when my gut said run upon meeting staff, almost all staff. They are red flagged for abuse if you look on Mi website, they should say it all. He’d of been better off in an alley with homeless people, he’d of been cleaner, more cared for, ate better, treated better, etc. In other words, if you bring them here you might as well move them into a dumpster-I’ve never seen such negligence/disrespect/laziness/abuse/lack of edible food and usually dehydrated patients. Dad had 3 roommates die before he did, had 2 fall and wait hours for staff to notice. Save your/their money and have them arrested as prisoners get better care. I wish I’d never ever put him there for care I couldn’t provide. They should be shut down and condemned and all the lazy a$$ employees can go work at McD’s but even there requires more work than they’d do. How they sleep at night is beyond me but karma is when they have family in the situation, they’ll learn. Sadly, they’ll have killed far to many by then.

My mom was there, took her to another nursing home as soon as I could. Very poor help, food was horrible, place was dirty and had roaches. The place stunk and the third floor was terrible. The place should be closed down.

please don't send your love ones to this nursing home. my dad is fighting for his life right now, because of there neglect. They didn't even know my dad had not urinated in a couple of days, he went into renal failure , and was put in the ICU for days. He had 700cc of urine in him. They just put him in a wheel chair and stuck him in the lobby, I was the one noticing he was acting right. I wouldn't even my dog there, he even deserve better. Room was dirty, I had to clean the call button. It had stuff all over it. My dad isn't the same now, He came in there for a stoke, and now is fighting. Terrible place

I'm only giving this high of a rating because my grandmother looked well cared for the day we visited. Only one staff member in the dementia care unit asked us which resident we were looking for. The rest of the staff was cold as ice. My family and I did not feel welcome by any means. The young gentleman at the front desk was very kind when we asked him about getting a code to get into the dementia area. I have a nursing background so I can sympathize from experience that these men and women are doing one of the toughest jobs around. Add to that being overworked, underpaid, understaffed and low morale. Neither of which is ever an excuse for treating someone with disrespect.

Death row for elderly. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. Their staff was somewhat friendly depending on which shift, They didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. Their facility was kind of gross. I was scared I was going to catch mersa or something just from being there. While I was there, they weren't able to answer any of my questions but made excuses for the bruises as being old. Not there yesterday.. They knew what they were doing. Pass the buck and avoid work. I for sure didn't feel very welcome by the staff. I felt like I was in their way! New bruises everywhere.

This place is a joke! The staff ignores the patients, lets them sit for hours waiting to use the bathroom/bedpan. Pass the buck is the places motto. Equipment is ok, but the staff is horrible. Need to be investigated by medicare. Staff does not perform basic daily hygiene on its residents. Never take your loved one here.
