the wait time was very long, but the staff apologized. something happened earlier that threw them off schedule. once in, the dental hygienist was very nice. dr. jay came in and was equally pleasant. the only knock(s) i could ding them with is that i was trying to get my son in for some fillings before the school year started and they could not accommodate my request. also i found it odd that you have to pay 1/2 of the estimated treatment plan for the next visit the same day the appt. was made, even if the next appointment is a month away. that is odd!

These guys are great in every possible way. I've been a patient for over ten years, and have referred everyone I know to them. For the past four of these ten years, I have lived in central North Carolina, approximately three hours from their office, yet I still make the drive to Mechanicsville an average of twice per year, even for routine visits. I highly recommend them!

They were so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about them arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places. They took the time to explain in detail plenty of techniques I could practice at home to prevent cavities and tooth decay. They have some of the best customer service I have ever seen. Putting their customers first is definitely a priority here and it shows. Not only was I able to watch TV during my dental procedure, they had a ton of magazines for me to look through as well. I barely even noticed that my dental procedure was going on because I was fully entertained the entire time. They always dress so professionally here, the entire staff obviously makes an effort to look their best and maintain a very professional appearance.
