Jayne Tsuchiyama is simply extraordinary. She combines her expertise in centuries-old eastern practices with a working knowledge of modern western medicine to create a truly integrated approach to healing and wellness. I initially visited her for chronic knee pain; after a month I cancelled two scheduled surgeries, and remain pain-free after one year. Her treatment has effectively lowered my blood pressure, resulting in a reduction in my prescription medication by my western physician.
Jayne is possibly the most thoughtful and analytical health care professional that I've ever encountered. She asks a lot of questions, does further research and follows up to ensure that she has a thorough understanding of your health, lifestyle and nutritional conditions. In addition to acupuncture, Jayne has at her fingertips a wide range of herbal and holistic therapies. Her powdered herbal formulas are customized, easy to prepare and surprisingly tolerable to drink.
If you're scared of needles - she will patiently and gradually get you accustomed to them.
In the past year, of the many friends who I have referred to Jayne, at least a dozen have given me positive and often glowing reports.
Before relocating to Honolulu, Jayne was a Certified Cancer Care Acupuncturist with the renowned Memorial Sloane Kettering hospital in New York. She is now the first acupuncturist to serve in a similar capacity at Queen's Medical Center.
I recommend Jayne with no reservations whatsoever!

Jayne is a talented and insightful practitioner. She treats not just the problem but also its underlying causes in order to achieve lasting wellness. Her extensive training, natural diagnostic instincts and calm, professional manner instill an immediate sense of trust and confidence. She is dedicated to helping her patients -- infants to elderly -- enjoy healthier, happier, less stressful lives.

I first visited Jayne about two years ago. I was immediately struck by her demeanor and her office. She is extremely professional, yet warm and caring. The best thing about her is that she is well-informed about western medicine as well as eastern medicine. She knows how to coordinate her treatment with western medical treatments. She told me that she's worked in a hospital setting before and I believe she is also the acupuncturist at the Queen's Cancer Center. As for her office, it was more like visiting a spa than going to a doctor. Very relaxing!

Of course, the most important thing is her effectiveness and I can't say enough about my own results. I had been irregular all my life, having a BM only every 2-3 days. Within 3 weeks, she had me "going" on a daily basis. What a miracle.

I've also referred several others who had similarly remarkable results. One friend was able to cancel her scheduled knee surgery after one month of treatment. My mother-in-law saw a 60% improvement in a facial twitch after two weeks.

I've seen several acupuncturists during my lifetime and I wouldn't recommend any of them except Jayne.
