Dr. Carpenter has performed 2 spinal fusions on my neck. The first was single-level fusion and the 2nd, 2 years later, was a three-level fusion. The goal of both was to alleviate severe pain down both shoulders and arms. I was able to have surgeries done at the Olympia Orthopedic Surgery Center which made things so much easier. Dr. Carpenter's assuring demeanor enabled me to feel confident in my decisions to have the procedures. Recovery was without complication and my pain has almost totally subsided.

I came to Dr. Carpenter with aprogressive, collapsing scoliosis. The treatment he proposed amounted to rebuilding most of my spine. He was professional and personable, and he graciously provided me with a recommendation for a second opinion. When symptoms indicated increasing nerve involvement, he wasted no time in scheduling a surgery for spinal fusion from the base of my neck to my tailbone, which he said was the biggest surgery you could perform on a spine. Without his confidence in his own skills and experience, as well as his belief in my ability to heal and return to an independent life, it would not have been possible. I highly recommend Dr. Carpenter. He listens well, explains technical terms clearly and without jargon, and considers his patients' unique needs and life circumstances when prescribing treatment.

I would like to Thank Dr. Carpenter for the surgery he performed on my neck. He listened carefully. He addressed my pain issues. His work was the absolute finest I could have asked for. My pain was immediately relieved. of course I had the healing pain, but he managed this as well always having my health concerns in focus to address for my betterment. My end result was achieved to improve my life and it did just this. To this day I will always Thank Dr. for his abilities to make a persons life improve. He clearly did this for me!! I will refer Dr. Carpenter's Surgeon abilities without any reservations!!! My experience was absolute the best from the start to the finish. I have experienced Drs. not listening. They can learn from Dr. Carpenter how important this is!

Dr Carpenter is my back doctor he did an outstanding job with my L-3 through S-1 fusion back to work full time in 6 months he was up front with me on everything and took care of all my needs. GREAT DOCTOR

Dr. Carpenter has been my surgeon for a number of years. My lower back surgery has been successful, bringing much relief. He has referred me to another excellent doctor for injections which bring additional relief to other injuries. Dr. Carpenter will be my chosen surgeon when I have surgery in those areas. Dr. Carpenter not only fix my neck so my pain is now gone but he let me take my time to feel comfortable about the surgery. Compared to the constant pain I had been in for 3 or more years the surgery was nothing. Dr. Carpenter took into consideration where he made the incision so no one notices the incision line on my neck. He was patient while I tried physical therapy and an injection to relieve the pain before I had to admit Dr. Carpenter knew what was best for me. I feel he cares what happens to his patients both emotionally and physically. I would recommend Dr. Carpenter to all my friends and family.
