Dr Sears was very informative about all aspects of the problem and procedure that were available . He took the time to explain what was needed and what else could be done. I was always comfortable with his explanations and the work he did.

The doctors, nurses, and facility are wonderful! I have had several mohs surgeries at this facility and the results have always been amazing. I would highly recommend Dr. Sears and his staff to anyone seeking this kind of medical treatment.

Dr. Sears is excellent. He is clearly outstanding in his field, highly professional, very thorough, has a great bedside manner, and I totally trust him with my skin care needs. I have referred several friends and acquaintances to him, and will continue to do so. Quite simply, he is the best!

I have chronic psoriasis, and I am disappointed that my treatment involves long-term use of prescription topical steroids. I extremely appreciate Advanced Dermatology's efforts to help me obtain coupons and less expensive access to these prescriptions. I assume that Advanced Dermatology is staying current regarding psoriasis research and offering their patients preventative suggestions (overall health: nutrition, stress reduction, quality sleep), as well as treating their conditions.

I had 3 separate surgery appointments for 5 basal cell cancers identified on my face. Dr. Sears performed all the procedures. I could not have been more impressed with both him and his excellent nurses. For many years had been going to another dermatologist, one not doing the MOHS procedure. Will definitely be going to Dr. Sears and Advanced Dermatology for my continuing care. Far superior.

I always enjoy seeing Dr. Hestalyn for my annual visit, and I also try to see Mikayla at least twice a year for facials. I would come more often but all of your services are expensive. I understand that, but still can't afford to come as often as I would like to. I would like to suggest offering hours on Saturday, and adding evening hours after 5:00pm.

March 13 I went in for a whole body check and had a potential skin cancer frozen on my nose. I am entirely satisfied with my visit and results. On March 22 I went in to have Mikaela do some laser around my nose. Once again I was very happy with the visit and result. I have scheduled a return trip for laser.

I saw Sydney the Aesthetician for a Jessner peel. She explained step by step through out the whole process. She was very professional and I would recommend Sydney to everyone.

I met Dr. Sears for a consultation due to lazer burns I had received at a local spa. The appointment was scheduled the same day that I called, (another provider could not schedule an appointment for 6 weeks!) Dr. Sears was attentive and listened carefully as I related what had happened to cause the burns. He let me know that the topical burn ointment that I had been using was wrong and requested that the nurse provide me a cream that would provide relief and healing. The results were immediate and the relief was most welcome! During my initial visit to Advanced Dermatology I made an appointment with their Medical Esthetician, Sydney LaLone, and I have seen her every month since February, 2014. I am so pleased with the way my skin looks since I started seeing Sydney! Her expertise and attention to her client's best interest is without question. The results speak for themselves. My experience with Advanced Dermatology has been stellar and I have no reservations in referring friends and family to their offices.

I looked in the yellow pages to find a dermatologist to freeze off a spot on my face. Seeing that Advanced had several dermatologists I felt that I had found the correct place. little did I know that the spot on my face was much more than I thought it was. Jeanne was the first to say that a biopotcy was needed as she felt it may be melanoma. It was at this time that she brought in Dr Sears who agreed. We talked for a few minutes and I realized that if I did have cancerous cells in me it was this Dr that I wanted to do the work. After finding that it was melanoma I arrived on the day of surgery and was made to feel completely at ease. I knew I was in good hands. Every member of the staff was very professional. after Dr Sears have excised the skin needed to test I asked for a mirror to see what was removed. it was at this point that I got my first shock and wondered how was the Dr going to be able to put this huge hole back to anything resembeling my face. I said a prayer and came to the realization that I was NOT going to look anything like myself and that I just had to make peace with what I ended up with. I knew that I had the right Dr and the right staff but what I didn't know was the depth of Dr Joels artistic skill. When I saw myself after the surgery I looked in disbelief at what I saw. The huge hole was gone!! Even though there were stiches after stiches I could see on close evaluation that this was a job that very few if and other Dr could have done. After taking the bandage off two days later I watched over the next week or so as the color became even the swelling was leaving and I was looking like ME. My workmates marveled at how quick the surgery healed and then one day about four weeks after the surgery the final person asked me what had happened to my face. That was a real turning point. I had reached the point where I didn't look like an out patient....I just looked like some guy that may have had a sports injury many years ago. I feel very blessed to have found Advanced Dermatology and Dr Sears and his staff. You have my deepest gratitude!!!!
