Dr lowe was my dr for a couple years then i moved now i have returned and going back to c him Friday. He has always had my best interest in mind and I am looking forward to seeing my doc again

I like Dr Lowe he's very caring and will take his time with each patient; however, the office is nasty. Old Food in the plastic plants, mold everywhere from leaking ceilings when it rains. God forbid the one nurse or secretary.... Whatever her title is, actually gets out of her chair and acknowledges you are there, not to mention get up and cross off previous patients names on check in? HELLO????It's soooo against HIPPA. Personally i don't know of one dr in VA who accepts insurance for suboxone therapy so i expect to pay the high fees but, seems like if you are on suboxone no matter which doctor you see, you feel as a second-class citizen and wait for HOURS just to pee and get your script. Anyways, i hate going to that office it's dirty and nasty and the longer you sit and wait the more grotesque things you see and the more mad you get at yourself for even needing suboxone!!!!Seems like something could be done to either completely renovate that building or at least move the hell out of there?

I don't think I have ever been put on hold here for a long time and am so impressed with how quickly all of my questions are answered. There's nothing worse than having to wait on hold for a half an hour just to get someone to talk to you. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. They are completely committed to helping me as long as it takes to find the best solution. I never have to worry that they'll back out or give up if a solution isn't reached immediately, which has been a problem for me at other places. They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me. I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for my well-being. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased.

They offer the best pricing I've ever seen. I couldn't believe how little I ended up having to pay. One thing I noticed about their office was how absolutely fantastic it smelled. They must clean or sanitize all the time. Their equipment was safe and well taken care of, which really says a lot about their standards of care to me. They put in the extra effort to make me feel valued and comfortable during each appointment. They are one of the most welcoming offices I've ever visited. Dr. Lowe is extremely personable and helpful. He isn't just a great doctor, but is a great person.

Very conscientious staff. Helpful, friendly and always positive and agreeable. I will continue to go back to this doctor until he retires. (which I hope isn't for a very long time.)

Their office was well organized and clean. I could tell they took a lot of time making sure it was presentable. I've never had to worry about them being understaffed or not being able to help me right when I need it. They have a huge staff that's very knowledgeable and qualified. Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet.

Did I get your attention with my title and are you one of his patients? I want to inform you before you see this provider that he is in-network with BlueCross BlueShielf of VA but is making his Suboxone patients sign contracts that override his contract with BlueCross BlueShield of VA to make them liable legally. When questioned about his activities by BlueCross BlueShield he exlaimed he was not accepting new patients and will refuse any patient that reports him to BlueCross BlueShield of VA. I strongly advise that this is unethical and should not be tolerated. If this has happened to you and is currently happening to you, please contact BlueCross BlueShield of VA at 1-800-552-6989 and report him to his provider representative. Doctors should not be charging patients for services that are covered by their insurance companies up front and if you sign the paper it is a legal binding contract between you and the provider. The only way this will stop is if patients with insurance take a stand against physicians like this and report their acts to let them know if will not be tolerated!
