Dr. Tucker is wonderful. His attention to his patients and his knowledge is outstanding. He spends as much time as needed with you, and is very thorough and understanding. The wait time to see him is therefore a bit longer than average but he is worth the wait. My only complaint is the ease of contacting the office. Ever since his practice joined a physician's group it has become almost impossible to make contact. It took three weeks for me to get a referral because it has become very difficult to get through to an actual person on the phone. The office is closed from 12-1, but the phones often do not get turned back on until 1:30 or later. Voicemail messages are often not returned. Despite this frustration, I will remain a patient of Dr. Tucker's because of the quality of care he provides.

Dr. Tucker pays close attention to my family and all of my questions are answered. The doctor is friendly and warm and you know he cares. He's been my 6 year old sons doctor for 5 years. He's open to listen to my concerns and respects me as the parent. He's reassuring and informative when my son is sick but isn't quick to medicate my family (as I prefer). He's patient with my son who is fearful of doctors. In contrast, I'm not impressed with his staff. The phone is not always answered by a human during office hours and I'm often put on hold for extensive amounts of time yet it looks like there is plenty staff. I often see 1-2 people behind the desk and 2 nurses/nurses assistants. Dr. Tucker is so wonderful, though, that I've been able to look past these management issues so far.
