Dr. Hubbard just was not a good fit for my elderly mother. She is hard of hearing, and was very nervous about seeing someone new - this was her first visit. Instead of trying to be patient and kind to her, he became condescending and rude, and put her even more on the defensive. I know she can be difficult when she is scared, but being a physician I would think if he really cared he would have been able to defuse her nervousness. Instead, he made her angrier and even more agitated. I was very surprised when he pulled me into the exam room with her to see how rude he was toward her. I asked her several times if she wanted to leave, but she said no, that she wanted to give him a chance to work with her. Instead of it getting better though, it got far worse. I was very disappointed with him as I was told by his office staff when I called to research his personality that he was a very religions and kind person. I love my mother and want her to find a physician who will be patient and kind to her and make her feel comfortable. He certainly was not that physician. I would not recommend him to anyone.
