Nearly caused me my life with an injection mistake. Ended up with emergency laminectomy due to this man.

You don't see a MD for refills, you only see a medical assistant, then she runs off AND has "someone" sign the script, !!!

I do not recommend Dr. Bulger. My wife had been a patient of his for a few years and we were satisfied until her last appointment. That is when he let his true character show. A month prior to this appointment, she had a kidney stone removed via surgery. This resulted in the surgeon prescribing her pain meds post op. She made Dr. Bulger fully aware of this shortly after the surgery but of course since he does not listen to his patients, he conveniently 'forgot' this important detail. During her last appointment he pulled her state records and saw where the surgeon had prescribed her pain meds in conjunction with his treatment. He immediately went on a viscious tirade and accused her of doctor-hopping and drug addiction in a very abusive tone. When she tried to explain to him (again) what the situation was, he yelled at her to 'shut up and listen'. He said this in front of me and his assistant, so there were two witnesses to the incident. She was already in a great deal of pain and he added to her misery by causing her mental anguish. Also, I have Autism and it caused me to go into an Autistic meltdown. There are too many choices of doctors in Dallas to put up with this behavior. Dr. Bulger is very unprofessional and this type of conduct is inexcusable.

Awful practice. After YEARS with him, he suddenly cut my pain medicine in half. It turned out that he was cutting everybody's pain medicine that was above a certain amount. He claimed it was the law, but just a little research showed that the law is quite contrary to what he is doing.. it specifically forbids cutting patients medicine "across the board". When pushed on the matter "and faced with proof that he was indeed not following the law", the truth came out: "It's just to much of a hassle to carry patients on that much medicine". So convenience is more important to him than the quality of life of his patients. Would YOU want to see a doctor with this attitude? Even all his PAs quit when he implemented the policy.. leaving two doctors with over 500 patients. You are lucky to get 5 minutes with him and he will change his story every 30 seconds.. and never try to actually help you. I loved them for a very long time but their hypocrisy ruined them.

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. The procedure performed made me pain free for the first time in months and I have stayed pain free for most of the time. I was told I could have three procedures a year, bkut haven't felt the need.
