This individual, in my opinion and based solely upon my visit, is a travesty to his profession. His cavalier (negative meaning) attitude started the minute he walked in the door of the treatment room. Having previously noted an obstruction in my nasal passage from the the CAT scan I had provided, he evidently saw the the only treatment was a surgical approach. Never once did he question my symptoms, asked me what the problem was. The end result with the appointment was a Rx for a nasal spray. His dictatorial manner stated that surgery was the only answer and no alternative was discussed when I informed him that, due to CPD, it was inadvisable for me to undergo general anesthesia.
I can only feel that he saw an old man, a vet with a voucher from the VA paying the bill. That old man is a retired dentist whom has seen hundreds of patients in his lifetime and never treated a patient in the manner in which Dr. Rowin treated him.
So I remain with low grade frontal headaches, post nasal drip, sore throat, drooling and difficulty with speech.

These are my observations based on my experiences with my son being treated for nasal polyps and allergies. Please be wary of using this practice. I was repeatedly given incorrect information about procedures by staff. Dr. Rowin would not even call me with results for tests he requested, even though his staff told me that he would discuss them with me in person. The person the staff refers to as an "allergist" is actually a med tech, not a doctor (by definition, an allergist is a PHYSICIAN specializing in diagnosing and treating allergies, NOT a med tech). Yet, the person I was told was an allergist was actually a med tech named Laura, and not a physician. This practice was not upfront with how procedures were done, with who did the procedures, or where procedures were to be done. I had to ask ALOT of questions REPEATEDLY to get to the bottom of what was going on, and when I finally got answers I felt that they had been purposefully trying to misrepresent things.
