I would never recommend Dr. Schuenemyer. I have Bipolar disorder and under her care I had a vagus nerve simulator (VNS) implanted. It did wonders for me and she was helpful for a long time. However with the VNS and the medication I was on, I experienced a mixed state. During this period I was having a very difficult time remembering when I had appointments with her as well as others. It was incredibly frustrating and I was very unstable. I was late and missed a fair number of appointments. She fired me in one of the most critical times in my treatment. It took me 3 months to find another doctor who could treat me. I did survive, but it was an incredibly difficult period. I realize that it is important to get to appointments on time and when I am stable I do a good job. I really should have reported her to someone, but I did not have the presence of mind. Please be careful if this is ever an issue for you. You may be left without a doctor during a period where you need them most..

They were decent, but not very affordable

No. I have to re-explain my circumstances every time
