Dr. Smith has taken great care of the issues with both of my hands. He seems to know how I will respond to surgery and adjusts my treatment accordingly, i.e. he could tell how hard I am on my hands by looking at
brace and casts. He and his staff have been nothing BUT professional and accommodating during my treatments and recovery.

I wish someone else would have written this online for me to read before I saw Dr. Smith. I would not recommend him or any other Doctor at this practice based on how I was treated after my new patient visit. I asked to see another Doctor at the practice, as I was less than impressed with Dr. Smith, and I was told by the office manager, Karen Roth, that I would not be allowed? The only good news is that I saw how this practice treats their patients BEFORE I had a surgery with one of the doctors.

I went in with my husband today for a broken hand and Dr.Purcell and his office were fantastic. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Dr.Purcell explains things so they are very easy to understand and takes the time to answer any and all questions. Dr.Purcell went over all the restrictions during the appointment and the girl who wrapped my husbands hand in the cast also went back over everything to make sure we understood. Wonderful office. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of his services!!!

Dr. Purcell Smith and his staff are the most unprofessional group I have ever come across.I do have a little experience with this. Dr. Smith was scheduled to do my 20th surgery and cancelled the procedure saying he did not believe I would follow with my after care. Funny you have medical records of my 19 surgies not a one saying I did not fulfill my after care. If you are a professional and live and die by keeping to a strict schedule forget about it with this group. If you need 5 to 7days to keep your tasks at work complete and tell them this and they call you at 3 pm the day before surgery and move your surgery time from 10 am to 530 am and u ask why because u now have to re plan the schedule of the people that are bringing u and staying with you plans. This rude un professional staff treats you as being aggressive towards them. I will have a attorney deal with this bunch and every associations he is required to be a member and file complaints with anyone important to his practice. Don't let this doctor touch your body or any family member or close friend u care about there to important to put there well being in there hands .Also the flat out rudest staff I have ever met.

I forgot to add Dr. Purcell Smith made me make more appointment for no reason and took me away from continuously causing a problem at my job. I have bone fusion done to right ankle that required less appointment than Dr. Smith. The CEO of the company I work for had severe back surgery to the point of building a mesh unit for stability and having metal pins in his back.He told me to find another Dr. because I was being required to miss work more tha anyone he seen for a elbow carpal tunnel surgery. Obviously Dr. Smith should be looked at for milking your insurance provider. If this is not a clue realize they send to a rehab center that is owned by the doctors.I am fortunate enough to have a great medical insurance when you go to there rehab the were asking me for$150.00 out of pocket because the insurance would not cover thre rehab center ad between $50 to $75 per appt after. This doctor is nothing but fraud health care for his patients is the least of his concern. Over booking surgery days with patient and requiring so many appts this doctor only worries about his pocketbook. lastly, during my pre op appt was told by the doctors assistant verbatim'. Mr. Craig if you would close your mouth this pre op can be completed faster'. HELLO you she devil of a person pre op appts where any intelligent patient should ask questions your only cutting ther body open and putting them to sleep.Again worst Dr.s office ever dealt with beware.Marshall Craig.
