This is one of the worst visits to a doctor I have ever had. Before choosing a doctor, I like to do my research and I will often call with any questions that I may have such as confirming pricing, confirming exactly what can be done during a consultation, etc. I did exactly this with Dr. Jose Anzaldua when choosing a doctor to evaluate my daughter for ADD. Many doctors do not want to prescribe medication for ADD due to liability on prescribing such a powerful drug. I held off several years on getting my daughter evaluated because I was hoping it might just be a phase, but it has gotten to the point where her inability to concentrate is affecting her grades in school so much that she may not pass to the next grade. When I called, I was informed that Dr. Anzaldua could evaluate my daughter and if he deemed that in fact she did have ADD, he would be able to prescribe medication that same day. I noted the price, making sure the total included the consultation, evaluation, etc. I felt like I had done my homework well enough but on the day of the appointment, I was greatly disappointed. The doctor did the evaluation and exclaimed that she definitely had ADD, but in order for him to prescribe anything, we would have to book an appointment with a psychiatrist to confirm the diagnosis. That marked the first lie. It's interesting how on the phone they say they can evaluate and prescribe medication on the same day, but once we get to the office we now have to pay another person to evaluate my daughter yet again. Then, according to him, we would have to return to Dr. Anzaldua again just to receive the prescription. So even though Dr. Anzaldua has all the rights to prescribe medication for ADD after determining that is in fact the problem, he prefers we leave, get a second opinion, and come back so he can get his filthy hands on more money. It's good to know that Dr. Anzaldua doesn't give a damn about his patients, but instead looks to suck money out of you. On top of that, when going to pay after being clearly perturbed with the doctor, they charged twice as much as they said it would cost when I had called before making the appointment. So, congratulations, Dr. Jose Anzaldua; you have shown just how horrible people can be when they only care about money and not about the actual patients. I would never ever recommend you to anyone I know.

I didn't have to wait at all after I arrived for my appointment. They were running right on time, which is a really big deal for me. Their office was nice and quiet. I was worried it would be overly loud but it was fine. They never left me for an extended period of time and I never felt ignored. The staff was extremely warm and welcoming, and made every effort to make me feel right at home. They are so friendly and inviting.
