Sadly, nearly every time I use this office I leave feeling very uncomfortable and worried that my children or I may have just contracted something from the other patrons. The office seems to attract the lowest of the low when it comes to patients. Many of them are downright filthy and it is not unusual to sit in there and listen to foul mouthed conversations of those waiting. Now, this is not necessarily the fault of the staff but certainly something to consider if you are taking your children.

On top of this, I have never waited less than 45 minutes so as you can imagine, come the end of my time in the waiting room I am fairly sick and tired of being in the same room as the type of people I have just described.

Dr. Arante is polite enough. Not particularly personable but that doesn't bother me. As has been mentioned by a previous reviewer though, it is very difficult to actually get any real information. Example: We were once directed onto the local hospital for x-rays without actually being told what the suspected illness was. I figured out that he though my son might have pneumonia when I looked at the take home paperwork provided while waiting at the hospital.

The staff was not originally friendly. I think that after putting up with the types of patients that I already described, the staff has just gotten to the point of providing terse responses and keeping their heads low to get through the day. After we used the clinic a few times though, the ladies there really warmed up to my younger son and will talk to him while we are waiting. This is nice as it acts as a distraction during our long waits.

After many trips here I have finally changed my family doctor through my insurance. I feel that there is indeed better out there. Hopefully going to a true doctor office instead of a catch all clinic will mean a higher quality of fellow patients translating into a friendlier, cleaner and less foul mouthed waiting room.

Have been using Dr.Arante for a few years now. Took son in and doctor was asking me what I wanted him to do . Symptoms were of strep throat which he was on antibiotics for a week. Said the sore throat was due to cough. Bedside manner was somewhat unprofessional, will be taking my child to a more concerned and educated professional doctor.

I went to see Dr. Arante for a suspected skin cancer. He refused to listen to me. He is so rude and unprofessional. He told me I didn't know what I was talking about. He said that I was lying. Well a month later I went back but the skin cancer had spread. He then would listen to me and finally ordered a biopsy. He is the rude and mean. But his office manager Kathy is worst. She is very unprofessional and rude. I have never met a more hostile person in my life. You have been warned.
