Dr. Edwards has been our general practitioner for 10 years. Dr. Edwards staff are personable & efficient, though record keeping has not yet moved into the digital age. Having a phlebotomist in the office facilitates blood work. Dr. Edwards herself is caring, listens attentively, & gives all the time needed to address problems, discussing in detail the knowns, unknowns, & options. She is a top-notch general practitioner I would recommend without qualification

I made an appointment as a new patient and stated that I wanted a full physical including well woman exam. I had to wait 2 months for an appointment, but that was OK. The problem came when I was informed that Dr. Edwards does not prescribe birth control or any kind of hormones, after I was sitting on the exam table in the paper robe! She did give me a 2 month prescription, but I now have to try to get a prescription from another doctor. I completely agree with her right to prescribe what she believes in...but when a new patient makes an appointment for a well woman exam, I think the receptionist should notify them that hormone treatment is not an option. I will probably go back for other services though, the exam was thorough and everyone was very nice.

I think DR Edwards and staff are the best. I always feel welcome when i go in for an appt. Everyone there is very helpfull, and if you need to have blood drawn her tech is the best. I am not an easy draw but her tech only stuck me once and no bruise.
