I switched over certain prescriptions to Dr. Stavinoha for price and convenience. I saw him last in January and needed a refill on a prescription in early March. The nurse called me and said before he refilled my prescription I would have to come in for yet another office visit. I have never had a doctor that has required so many office visits before. I explained that I was unable to leave work during the next several weeks and really needed my prescription refilled. It is a medication I have been taking regularly for about 8 years. I explained that I was having a hard time also because I was having to put one of my dogs to sleep that week. They were very inconsiderate and would not fill my prescription. Instead I got a certified letter denying further service. Which is fine with me as I would never see him as a doctor again.

A doctor should be understanding and I feel that Dr. Stavinoha likes to schedule many unnecessary office visits in order to bill patients more. This is pathetic healthcare.
