I will not return, even if you pay ME.

The first time I visited, I explained I was nursing and he prescribed a cream that when I picked it up from the pharmacy said in big block letters not to use if you are pregnant or nursing.

The next time, he put me on prednisone and I had a terrible reaction...loss of equilibrium, vertigo, heart pounding out of my chest. I called and spoke with the secretary. I didn't get any calls back from the doctor -- only his secretary, who told me to go off the prednisone cold-turkey because "I wasn't on enough to cause me any problems". I then swelled up like a water balloon, and my lungs 'farted '. Scared, I went to an emergency room, and eneded up spending a week in critical care due to my chest cavity being filled with fluid. The steroid caused Cushing Syndrome.. potentially deadly. I had no prior condition -- cardiac or other -- that could be blamed for this.

I didn't receive as much as an apology from Dr. Perez. I received NO follow-up from his office... no communication. If I was the suing sort, I suspect I'd be sitting pretty. He has no business prescribing things if he isn't familiar with the side effects and how to recognize the more serious ones.
