I wish they had made an effort to make the examining rooms more inviting to children but they didn't. My child was even more nervous going into a dimly lit, plain examining room. When I asked them about immunizations, I was hoping they'd be able to give me some good information. Instead, they told me I was going to need to research it on my own. I'm disappointed that when my child's sick, they usually don't get them in to be seen for at least a week. I don't feel like I can count on them in an emergency. After I told them that I didn't want my child to get certain vaccinations, they were very kind and considerate, and respected my decision. I really appreciated having a pediatrician that let me make what I felt were the right decisions for my child. The staff clearly needs more training in most areas. They could barely help me with my questions. We waited for over an hour to be seen in an exam room for the stomach flu, and my child was so anxious, there was more vomiting done in that hour fifteen waiting than the 3 days before his appointment. There was no explanation of "diagnosis", i had to read it on the release papers on the way out... i also had a concern about my childs hearing, and instead of offering any kind of hearing test, or evaluation, he looked inside my childs ears, said its wax and would come out on its own. very unhelpful especially when the medicines prescribed would have been cheaper if i had just gone to the store and bought the OTC... they were literally otc, just with a prescription sticker on it.

Definitely! They were some of the most child-friendly examining rooms I've ever seen
