Best doctor I've encountered in the Myrtle Beach area. He cares about his patients and takes the extra steps to reach out. His staff is awesome!

MedPlus in Garden City, is run by Dr. Turek. He is the worst Doctor I have encountered in recent memory. His office manager SHARON who he uses to clean up his dishonestness and laziness is a complete Buffoon and has no business calling patients back about anything at all. She is his stooge and only succeeds in making him look even worse. I asked for an apology from TUREK for his unethical and most likely illegal mistreatment of Me but he instead had SHARON call
Me back. I smartly recorded ALL!

If I won't be returning again. They do not service all Medicare patients. They definitely favor certain clients. I was in a lot of pain and had had my insurance card reviewed by them two days previous to my appointment and was told that it was okay. I have a Medicare Plus Advantage plan. I even gave up going home for Easter to see them. I am new to the area. I had planned to have them become my primary care doctor. I do not believe that they can be a Medicare provider and turn Medicare insured clients away. They do bill Medicare. They refused to bill my provider. I do not agree with the way they do business here. I will be investigating their policy with the SC.gov and Us.gov and my Medicare plus provider. Urgent care was not a acceptable solution for this problem as I needed to be seen by a practictioner who would see the resolution of the problem to the end. I have been in great pain.
