Difficult to communicate with, spends less than 10 minutes with patients per appointment, cancels appointments with no notification, unresponsive to requests for medication refills -- even those with withdrawal dangers, consistent wait times of an hour or more. I've always been confused about why the waiting room is always full, but now understand that it's simply because he accepts health insurance. That is not an excuse for such cavalier and irresponsible behavior. Why go into psychiatry when you obviously hold people in such contempt?

Dr. Kroessler does not care for my well being, he only cares about his narrow view of how psychiatry should be practiced. I do not feel safe seeing him.

My first visit, when we were reviewing medications lists (I had seen another doctor before I moved here), he accused me of being a drug addict. This was before we had even spoken of my history. I, unsuccessfully, tried to explain the process I'd been through before I had resorted to the medication he was referring to. He just waved his hands in the air while shaking his head back and forth, and said in his opinion, there was no justification to use that medication, except to try to avoid withdrawal symptoms. I was horrified that he had prejudged me before listening to my history. He refuses to treat one of my main problems because he "doesn't prescribe anything addictive". He also had no alternatives for treatment. I do not trust this doctor enough to tell him anything about me anymore. I feel like I have to defend myself when I go into his office. I will be finding a more sensitive psychiatrist, who listens to my history before accusing me of being a drug addict. I definitely DO NOT recommend him to anyone with a mental health issue.

I always have the best experience every time I have an appointment here. Although I have not had much to complain about, I have noticed that they strongly adhere to the customer is always right policy and if anything goes wrong make every effort to correct the situation. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. Everyone in my community knows that they are the absolute best in the field. Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily.
