Most attentive, caring and respectful of my wishes. Delivered the last 3 of my 5 children. I can’t express in words how much I trust him and how great he is.

They've never dismissed any of my concerns as unimportant, and take every concern of mine very seriously. They seemed really knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions in-depth. I understood all my options fully and they really took the time to make sure my questions were answered. I was in awe at the level of service I received. They completely surpassed all my expectations and I will absolutely be going back. There was lots of available parking at their office. I was glad that I didn't have to drive around looking for parking. Dr Ellmallah is the best. I will drive 45 min to an hr for a routine appt with him. He cares. He is genuine and his bedside manner is the best. He gives you his undivided attention and does not rush you out.

Dr. El Mallah has been my primary physician at this practice for several years. He treated me during my entire pregnancy and was there for me during a difficult labor experience, ensuring my comfort and well-being, as well as a complication-free delivery of a healthy baby. He was also there for me post-delivery. You will not find a doctor with a nicer, more caring and pleasant bedside manner, or with a longer list of loyal patients. Dr. El Mallah goes beyond the call of duty to put his patients at ease and to meet their needs. He is not one to be checking his watch. He truly listens and will not leave the room or hang up the phone until all questions are answered and concerns addressed. I have never seen him anything other than completely pleasant. He is extremely knowledgeable and competent, and he is a very kind, compassionate person with a down-to-earth style and a nice sense of humor. We need more doctors in the world like him.

Dr El-Mallah was one of the best. I stayed with this practice because he was very caring and thorough. He takes his time with each patient. He makes you feel like you are the most important and he gives you his undivided attention. His bedside manners are impeccable. He knew I had hypothyroidism as well and was on top of my ob/gyn needs as well as concerned with my overall health. He took my fear away about having a second child after a very long pregnancy and terrible labor. I only wish I would have had El-mallah deliver. I had cstelli deliver twice. Castelli is from another practice but fills in when no one is at bryn mawr from main line womens health practice. I did not know this as a first time Mom. I assumed i would have someone from the practice deliver. I went in at 3pm and delivered sat am 10 am and no one was available. I will continue with this practice because its hard to find a doctor like el-mallah who cares and he is genuine. He came to visit me in the hospital even though he did not deliver. He is awesome. I would refer anyone to his practice and make appts with him each time and you will get the best care. He is in Malvern on WED only so you may see other doctors in the practice as the appts increase(at the end). The previous reviewer did not give him a chance. As a woman who went through labor twice, get the epidural. I agree pitocin is no fun so dont go in to the hospital until you are in active labor. If you want to go natural, that is your choice and el-mallah will honor your birth plan. Many women want to go natural and than decide to opt for the epidiural as the pain is the worst pain ever. He will treat MOM and baby and do what is best for a safe/healthy mom and safe baby. Feel free to email me if you have any questions. donna.mattia@comcast.net

My wife and I are expecting our first child and we met with Dr. El-Mallah for our initial prenatal visit. I am not certain if this is rare, but I accompanied my wife into the observation room to participate in the visit. This seemed to irritate Dr. El-Mallah as he made a sarcastic comment about my presence.

The visit proceeded nicely and Dr. El-Mallah exhibited a pleasant "bedside manner." At the "end" of the visit, Dr. El-Mallah began to leave the observation room before we could ask questions, but we drew him back and made our inquiries.

This, I think, irritated Dr. El-Mallah and his mood changed during this period. He exhibited a passive-aggressive and condescending manner when my wife and I expressed our desire for a "natural" birthing process (sans: pitocin, epidural anesthesia, etc.). He said to my wife, "You will need pitocin to regulate your contractions since this is your first birth and your uterus is not prepared for birth." He also said, "You must understand that you will need treatment for the pain because it will be so severe. I cannot have you kicking me." He seemed to acquiesce when I asked if he could direct us to another doctor who shared our philosophy, he stated: "I can do 'natural,' that is fine."

My wife and I will be looking for another doctor. Our experience with Dr. El-Mallah was disheartening and soured what should have been a very sweet experience.
