The doctor was uncaring, and did not treat me like a human being. Evidently she didn't like one of my diagnostic labels. She gave me medically inappropriate advice. Although I came with an open mind, I was the only one in the room who was open, and by the time I left, her disregard had become mutual disregard. You'd think that after the "hysterical paralysis" (multiple sclerosis) debacle, neurologists would have learned something about politically incorrect disorders, but such is not the case.
The staff, on the other hand, were helpful, polite, kind, and sympathetic.
