They barely gave me any information at all. I had to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I felt like my appointments were pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. The office was easy enough to find. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. Very unprofessional, and seems paranoid of anyone he sees. It took almost 6 months before I saw another doctor who ended up putting me in the hospital for a serious condition this doctor told me hardly anything about. This doctor should have put me in the hospital 5 months previously and if he would have I probably wouldn't have lost the vision in my left eye.

I experienced nothing but grief and disappointment in Dr. Gonzalez's office. This is what happened.
Dr. Gonzalez prescribed two sets of prescriptions that did not work because of side effects (really bad side effects). To this day I don't have preventatives for my migraines. It is very difficult to schedule an office visit. They are always 3 months ahead.
Botox injections work well for my migraines and Dr. Gonzalez performs them, but my insurance was denied. While I was working out an appeal I missed an appointment (for Botox) that should have been canceled by the office. I was charged for a no show. This seemed unreasonable.
After my insurance was appealed, I tried to go back to Dr. Gonzalez. His nurse called me and told me the medicine was in and schedule me an appointment the for Botox injections. I took off work without pay and went to the appointment. I was met with a nurse who asked me if this was a routine check up. They didn't have the injections ready and knew nothing about it. I was very angry and complained to the office manager. The office manager told me, "If you are going to trash his office than I could go to another doctor". I swallowed my disappointment and tried to reschedule. The office manager never called me back (tried six times). I had the same problem with his nurse. There is a web page from the Neurological Associates of Tulsa web site that is labeled excellence. They say that they never compromise their patients safety and well being. I found this untrue.

I was taken to ER after a three day hospital stay and was in the ER again. They called Dr. Gonzales to come to the hospial . I had been disgnost with a pinched nerve in my neck at the hospital. He came into the room and I was in so much pain, rubbing my eyes and forhead etc. he walked in the room without looking at my records and told me i was eXaggerating my pain .He then emplied that I was there for drugs! Then he said ' i will look at your records now. He came back to the room and told me I had TMJ. he wanted me to make an appointment to see him this week. WILL NOT HAPPEN!!

I really like Dr. Gonzalez, but his staff is another issue. I had a follow up appt 2 months after my initial appt. It was scheduled for 9am one morning, they call me at 745am to reschedule. They rescheduled for the following week. They call me THE MORNING OF my next appt to ask whether I had some testing they wanted done. When I told them that I had not because no one had contacted me about it, they told me that I did not need to come in that day because it would "Do no good". Apparently, his office staff forgot to schedule my tests. I finally had my testing over a month ago and have yet to hear back about my results, which is pretty sad considering my insurance is already sending me things on it. I'm thinking if Dr. Gonzalez wants to keep his patients, then he needs to seriously reinvest in some new office staff. It is absolutely ridiculous.
