I've been taking my kids here for 15 years. They have always seen us immediately, even stayed late so that I could bring my child in. They have always returned my phone calls by the end of the day. They even knew my daughters babydoll's name and would welcome her, as well! I highly recommend Star Pediatrics!

My son is 10 months old and has azma. I had told them multipule times that he had it an they kept telling me no so i took him for a second appinion. I recently got a notice in the mail stating that they were dropping him as patient but no reason y. After calling them twice i finally was told it was because i got second opinions. Maybe if they took more time with there patients an was more thuroe people wouldnt have to get second oppinions. They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed.

During my daughter's 5 yr well child visit, the doctor realized I was pregnant with my third child. It was a second marriage and she became very distant and standoffish. It was very uncomfortable. Although I really liked them as doctors, I could not get past the wall of "shame" that was suddenly constructed on their end. I went to a new provider shortly after that visit.

I have been taking my children here for years, but most recently I feel like I am always given a "generic" diagnosis. We do not take our children to the doctors much, only after over the counter medications are not working or if a fever is involved. To sum it up each time we have went, I have actually had to fill out new paperwork as it is usually only once a year that they even need to go. But, this winter/spring we have been in and two times I have been told to get "nasal spray" or given "nasal spray" then a week later, symptoms have been worse, or not any better and have had to go back in again with SAME symptoms and paid another co payment. Each time I have had to go on my own to find a specialist and thankfully have the answers that I have been searching for. I am tired of feeling like they just skim over the symptoms and give a generic statement of "allergies" because it is allergy season. But, I am no doctor and understand that there could be more than just "allergies" Thankfully I trusted my instincts and went to the hospital where they actually drew blood and ran some tests and got a real answer, and surprisingly it wasn't ALLERGIES!! I was never so happy to have some answers and felt like someone was actually listening to us. Hopefully we are now on the road to recovery.
