Dr Bharat Shah is a awesome person as well as his staff. He took the time to listen to what i had to say and went into a lot of dept to answer my questions and made sure before I left that i understood that what i felt was ok. To help you understand a little more, my visit was to get a grip and control of my feelings cus my sister passed away at 44 yrs old.. So, yes i went and him and his team helped me quite a bit i might say.. Thank you for listening

Very disappointed in Dr. Shah's dismissive attitude and general lack of compassion. He is poorly enlightened on addiction though he professes to be knowledgeable in treating patients with depression and substance abuse issues. Addiction is a serious disease and not a moral failure. If your seeking help with suboxone treatment find someone more versed in suboxone treatment and maintenance. When Dr. Shah drastically reduced my suboxone starting with my first visit I suffered physical withdrawal and cravings. When after the fourth week he reduced me

Very good Doctor in his knowlege of drugs and pharmaceuticals. Respects my need for cost effective drug therapy and insurance needs. Knows when I need to go into hospital. Doesn't normally keep me waiting too long in room. Sometimes sessions are brief but has offered me more frequent sessions for longer periods of time for discussion.

The staff was very helpful no matter how many times I called with a question or concern. They never made me feel uncomfortable for asking any question. Their office wasn't too easy to find. I got lost on the way there. I didn't appreciate that they didn't take the time to explain my treatment's risks and benefits. They make no effort to make me feel special. I don't think they listen to me or took the time to understand why I was there. This provider has no helpful information available online, apart from their address and phone number. They just have a basic listings page. They really made me feel like a junkie by the things the nurse wrote to the Dr about me and the information was not true.

Dr. Shah is a very knowledgeable professional who has enlightened me to some interesting facts in psychopharmacology drugs. He issued a simple med correction for me that ended four years of severe anxiety and a constant feeling like I was dying. A simple, cost effective switch of meds made a huge difference and even reduced greatly my dependence on benzodiazapine medications. He explodes happy talk myths about atypical antipsychotics and has been treating me with an "old standard" that has controlled my condition without any nasty side effects asnd without the severe anxiety caused by the aytpical antipsychotic I was on from some other psychiatrist. Although visits with the Dr. are short and concise I leave feeling good about new info he gives and his push to reduce levels of psychotropic meds to the neccessary minimum doses. He is a kind and considerate man and we've many interesting...but quick...talks about the science.

This is a highly effective psychiatrist and should be considered if you are searching for an outpatient consulting psychiatrist.
