I tried for 3 days to reach this doctor's office after seeing him on a Monday. I was in so much pain that I went to the ER after 3 days of extreme pain. At the ER I was immediately placed on a Dilaudid IV drip. I got a CTscan and the ER consulted a surgeon because I have a bowel obstruction. It's now 6 days past my visit with this doctor and his office has failed to respond even though we call several times each day. We keep getting a recorded message saying, "We will get back to you within 48 hours." Even 48 hours is a very long time when you have a bowel obstruction that is causing extreme pain. The doctor is wonderful. An incredibly caring individual, but his staff is letting him down.
