Dr. Jenkins was an amazing Doctor. I wish she was not retired. I know if it were not for her neither me or my children would be here and also thank you to the Lord above for giving her knowledge. She was always kind and caring. Just a wonderful, wonderful doctor! Truly miss her!

Wanda Jenkins saved my life. I was very sick. She figured out that I had an abscess on my kidney, which saved my kidney. She took it upon herself to hospitalize me until I was over that illness. Dr. Jenkins is an amazing doctor!

My daughter had a procedure done by Dr Jenkins when she was 18 and now she can has massive scar tissue and can not have children. Other doctor's have told my daughter that she should not have had that done. It was not necessary. Now my daughter has to deal with that the rest of her life. I wish I could have given her a less rating. I should have insisted on getting another doctor's opinion but I trusted Dr Jenkins. My horrible mistake.I would not even give her one star if I could help it.

A relative of mine left a "routine" hysterectomy with Dr. Jenkins with permanent, life-changing nerve damage to her leg. This has caused all sorts of mobility, circulation, and muscle-wasting problems, not to mention pain. No legal action was pursued because Dr. Jenkins brushed it off as "temporary" (this was about 10 years ago and has since cost my relative thousands and thousands of dollars for physical therapy and neurology appointments and orthotics). But other medical personnel made it clear to us that this was not an isolated incident. For a time, I understand Dr. Jenkins was stripped of her privileges to practice at this hospital. To be fair, accidents will happen even with the best doctors, but I cannot in all honesty say that I wouldn't expect this to happen again. And we were very displeased with the lack of follow-up after this incident. Do some serious investigation before considering Dr. Jenkins for any services beyond an office visit.
