Do not call their Syosset practice!!! Absolutely terrible. Apparently too busy to take appointments or be pleasant on the phone. Had called earlier in year for my annual prescription checkup but was told 4 months. As a busy working parent I couldn't make an appt that for ahead, so put it off. Called for an emergency appointment for some pressure in my eye. They asked if it was an emergency, I said yes, it's not well/some pain, but not dire, I could wait a week or so. I was told if it is an emergency I could come in in one hour and they would try and see me or I can wait for an appointment in 2 months. I can't find a babysitter in one hour so I asked if there was no other time this or next week, and they said absolutely not, take it or leave it. SO i contacted another ophthalmologist who is happy to see me later this week.
