Beware of Dr. Kent. She maybe nice but I would never recommend her to anyone after my experience. Every time I got my period, I would have major (painful) cramps, felt nauseous and couldn't even go to work. I suffered this for some time until the family doctor told me this was not normal and recommended Dr. Kent. I went to her office and she did her internal exam and told me she there was nothing wrong. Not knowing any better I accepted her answer and suffered for another year until a friend (who was the asst. dean at Columbia Pres.) said to go to another dr. and Recommended Dr. Hilda Hutcherson and immediately during an internal she felt something and said this is not normal. Sent me right away for an ultra sound and a mass was found. Long story short, the mass was so big I had to have a hysterecomy at 32. The mass that had been growing, was blocking blood flow during my period and that is what caused all the pain. Maybe if Dr. Kent took more time and sent me for tests I would still be able to have kids. She just took my symptoms as normal monthly pains associated with my period.

Their prices were very fair. The level of care you get for the price is outstanding. They had a lot of interesting magazines, which made my time in the waiting room go by much faster. Whenever I make an appointment, I'm always confident that they're going to be ready for me at my scheduled time.

I felt very rushed. They barely spent two minutes with me and almost completely ignored me. They consistently dismiss my concerns and accuse me of making problems up. I don't trust them to ever actually look into my concerns and see if they're valid. The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly. They made sure that their qualifications were obvious. I was confident that I was under the care of a professional.
