I had to C-sections with her and she was 100% caring and nurturing to my needs. I would have another delivery with her.

This review is to share my experience with Uma Ratakonda, MD via the telephone. I was a patient and have found my visit to the office great. Recently, I experienced severe pelvic pain and bleeding, unrelated to my menstrual. It was early Monday morning around 12am, that I began to really get concerned. I did what most people would do...contemplate going to the ER or figuring out when I could see my obgyn. I decided to call the office to hear the voice automated message for the office hours. When I called I was connected with an individual, who I assume takes calls for the office 24hrs. He took my info asked me if I was a patient. I asked him if I could get any assistance with my situation. He took my number and said the Dr. will call you shortly. When Dr. Ratakonda called back I was very gracious and began explaining my situation. Her response was very insensitive and rude. She stated something along the lines of "What can I do?"...(sarcastically). When I began to explain that I was calling the office to get the office hours...She cut me off and yelled 9'Oclock!!! and hung up. I understand she may have been tired and did not want to answer calls at that time. But it truly was an emergency to me. If she would have let me finish speaking I could have told her that I didn't intend to disturb her. But, I think it is safe to assume that I did what most people would do. If you have the opportunity to get help you would take it. Clearly the telephone operator thought it was important enough to contact her. She left me feeling very hurt and disappointed. In the future, I hope that she can atleast advise her patients to go to the er or quell their concerns till office hours.

Being that I have only gone to this provider once, I can only base my review on that past experience. But for that time I was there, they took that extra step to make me feel comfortable. I haven't seen any coupons or discounts for this provider's office, but I haven't really looked (they never mentioned anything about promotions when I had gone there). I will absolutely return. I had a good experience, and they were by far the best I've ever dealt with. I saw no indication of them overbooking any appointments. I didn't have to wait long to be seen after I arrived for my appointment. They were pretty much running right on time, which is a pretty big deal as most doctors make you wait almost an hour or two before you're even seen (excluding emergencies).
