Dr. Fogelman is our family's dermatologist. He is not only knowledgeable, professional, meticulous, extremely patient by answering all questions we've asked him, truly caring, and approachable as well. He always makes himself available to his patients especially in emergency situations by squeezing you in to his already totally booked schedule. He truly epitomizes what it means to be a dedicated physician. He should be cloned!

Do not go here!

My husband and I recently went here for routine checkups after moving to the area. We waited 3 months for an appoint, which wouldn't normally bother me. However, once we arrived, my husband waited an hour and a half for his appointment and I waited an hour for mine. We were both on time.

The doctor prescribed something for my husband that made his condition worse. It took him two weeks to recover. I was convinced he should go back to get a different medication until more problems began to occur.

I had a biopsy done on a questionable mole- as per the doctor's orders. They told me to wait ten days and I would get a phone call with the results. The post-operation slip clearly stated not to call before 3 weeks time to get results- of course I listened. I waited three long weeks unknowing if something was wrong or not until I finally gave in and called. Of course, my results were in and no one called me to tell me. In fact, I doubt anyone would have ever called me.

A few days ago I got a large bill for the lab work. I called my insurance (they are wonderful and never give me ANY problems) and asked why the large bill. I was told it was an out of network lab. You can imagine my surprise because before I left the office the day of my biopsy, I confirmed with them that they would send my pathology to an in-network lab. They confirmed by assuring me all of their labs were in-network.

There are plenty of dermatologists out there and I will not be going back here. I strongly urge you to reconsider before making an appointment here.

I have no specific complaints about Dr. Fogelman, this review is more about the Dermatology Center of Rockland.

Unit took 6 weeks to get an appt and I still waited 40 minutes to see the md. The staff was horrible, I felt like I was in a free clinic or an airport. Chaotic
