I have been a patient of Dr. Gumaste for easily over fifteen years and always found to be very caring and friendly and at times cautious in how she treats and handles her patients. I like her because she is not an alarmist but when dealing with a situation where you may need specialized medical care she has close relationships with Surgeons and other experts who can immediately provide or address the issue when the need goes beyond that of the general internist. She also makes herself available for general questions and I have always been happy with the care that she provides
