if you don't mind waiting in excess of 90 min before you see the Dr & if you don't mind dealing with rude & crude office staff - this place is for you.

DO NOT see this "doctor". I was under his care for about four years (due to insurances) and I would never recommend him to anyone. I have been dealing with a specific problem for a couple of years now and every time I bring it up to him he says it is low blood sugar and I need to eat more. Well guess what, I've been taking that advice since the day I told him about two years ago and it hasn't improved a bit. Also, more recently, he interpreted my blood test wrong and put me on medication that I should have never been on. Since I did not need this medication, I was having heart palpitations. I even saw him for these palpitations and he never thought to tell me that I should not be on the medication. I have recently switched to a new primary doctor after this incident and would you like to know her opinion of this doctor? She said no one in their right mind would put me on that medication with the blood test (I showed her the exact blood test that he read). She continued to then list my symptoms without me even having to tell her (mind you these were the same symptoms that I had seen Dr. Riss for and he told me it was anxiety). Dr. Riss is the most uncaring doctor I have ever been to. Pill pusher. If you want someone who will listen and attempt to help you….look elsewhere.
Just a couple of other tidbits about the office in general:
-Staff is absolutely rude, never had a pleasant experience with any of the secretaries or nurses
-The waiting room does not feel clean at all, I feel like I'm getting sicker just by sitting there
-I have consistently waited over a half an hour just to be put in a room, then once I'm in there it's another half an hour to see the doctor (I remember waiting over an hour and a half just in the waiting room one time when I had scheduled an emergency appointment)
-Also, one last thing. When my blood pressure had spiked to the point where I could barley walk without falling over, they told me to come in. So, I did. Dr. Riss would not even come out of his office to see me. The nurse had to run back and forth to communicate messages between him and me.

Dr. Riss is a lovely man. However, the office staff is horrible. I came in after a phone call checking to see if they accepted my insurance. The said yes. I also checked the reviews on the internet which also verified that my insurance is accepted. When I arrived they took my co-pay. They then sent me a bill for the full amount. They would not accept my insurance. I felt "duped" to say the least. Why accept my co-pay if they are not in network. This is a devious way to get full price for a dr. visit. After a phone call to the office/2 letters, they sent me a letter saying my account will be sent over to collections!!! So sad. I sent the money. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Call your insurance company with their tax ID #. One star since Dr. was nice.
