Dr Astikk has been a life saver for our family more than once.He really cares for his patients. I never feel rushed during my appointments. He listens and explains things in language that I can understand. If he says he will call back, he does. I would recommend him to my friends. I'm very thankful for him and his staff.

One thing that I don't appreciate, is that they close exactly at their scheduled time whether someone needs help or not. I can't count on them to help me if I show up even a couple of minutes past their closing time. There was lots of available parking at their office. I was glad that I didn't have to drive around looking for parking. They barely ever answer any of my questions over the phone, and I've had to make way too many appointments.

Dr. Astik does not listen to his patients. I insisted over the course of 2 doctor's visits that I get some blood work done to see what was causing my symptoms. He refused to do any testing, insisted I was crazy and instead wrote me a prescription for anti-anxiety medication.

Come to find out, after seeing another better-trained internist in my area, that I contracted Lyme disease and that explains the symptoms I've been experiencing. This was of course after doing blood tests that I didn't have to ask for.
