My step mother had an extremely painful and terminal illness. Would see the dr on a regular basis and was prescribed pain medication that helped tremendously but when it came time for refills they were RARELY IF EVER on time causing my mother alot of UNNECESSARY undue pain due to the fact her medications were of the kind that would cause withdrawal if they were to be ceased being taken abruptly/at once. Several times her medications were not available up to 4 days after they were due which caused extreme discomfort and unnecessary pain. On many occasions the pharmacist even confirmed the medicines were due for refill and his office still had not ordered them. Getting through to the individual that handled refills was also a fiasco with my step mother sometimes being hung up on or flat out lied to alot of times being told the dr has until 6pm to call it in yet the office closes at 430 so if after 6 they were not available would have no choice but to wait until the next day and if it were on a friday that would mean another two days if not three with her in unnecessary pain. She has since passed away but I know alot of the discomfort and pain she felt in her final months would not have been an issue had her refills been called in/transmitted on the day they were due. She did NOT abuse her medications or take them in any other way than they were prescribed. A couple of them were "up to X per day AS NEEDED" sometimes she needed more sometimes she didnt. They dont take that into account perhaps but still the day they were due they were rarely available for her to pick up on that day. I had actually taken her to the office a couple times to have the staff promise her "they would be in by 6pm" and they werent (ergo a lie). Im sure she is not the only one that had this kind of an issue. At least now she is not in any pain at all...both from her illness and the undue from not having her medication. God bless

I had a great experience here and will most definitely refer them to others in need of an internist. . They were always very considerate and professional. . Every time I come here they remember me . This doctor
actually listens and doesn't tell you your pain is "just due to old age"
