Dr. Kavaney was my psychiatrist for over ten years. I found him to be honest, helpful, and a good listener. Even when we couldn't find a medication that was helpful with my depression, which happened a couple of times, I always left his office feeling better than when I went in. He took me seriously and helped me when I was struggling and needed to reduce my work hours. He is the best psuchiatrist I ever encountered.

I saw this doctor for more than a decade and was always told, "everybody feels that way." I was misdiagnosed and treated for the wrong illness. I was given twice the maximum recommended dose of Abilify. He also indicated that he retired in December of 2009, so it surprises me to see the review from 2011 above. I was only googling him to see if there were any lawsuits against him.
