I have agree with the other person who recently rated him last month as a "1." First, I recently learned that his overall Dental care is not what he always boasted about, and I too subsequently learned that he performed several unnecessary procedures that I wasn't even aware of, and did not learn about it either until relocating out of the area and after finding a new Dentist. Further, I too had the exact same problems with his total lack of communication; and lack of billing problems/receipts, which has left me with a large Dental debt too! More importently, I think its ironic that its not just 1 former employee or patient with an axe-to-grind, I've read several not so positive feedback remarks from former patients. To all of those nevertheless glowing reviews about him, God Bless You ....I think thats great, and I hope that you do not subsequently learn what some of us unfortunately have discovered. Be that as it may, I would however strongly recommend to any of his current patients to get a 2nd opinion(which is provided without a fee from most Dentists) if he starts recommending dental work that you do not believe you really need. I would also recommend that you check out on the internet...the site I think its Consumer Reports of America.. or something like that or you can google "Best Dentists in America" ...and you will get that site, and their criteria to be recognized as one of the best is really strict ( recommendations are made by other Dentists and Specialist). FYI, my new Dentist is recognized on this site, but he is not. Anyway...you can take this for what its worth and good luck to all.

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better for someone who is a "white knuckle" patient. He explained what problems he identified and proposed treatment options carefully and fully, and left the decisions up to me. I find it amazing that someone who seems to know so much about Dr. Jackomis and his background continued to be treated by him if he was "such a gossip that she lied about her husband", "heard he uses substandard materials", or didn't have passion to be a dentist from the age of 19 or 20. As for a disgruntled former employee, consider the source. I've recommended him several times and each person who has gone to him has been more than pleased with his treatment and skills and continue to be his patient.

I have to agree with the other person who rated him as a one. Yes he was friendly, told jokes, seemed to be genuinely concerned with my dental care. But his overall dental care was poor as well as his health insurance and billing practices. He performed unecessary dental work that I wasn't aware of and didn't learn about until after I had moved from the area and found a new dentist. My dental insurance refused to pay leaving me with a bill in the thousands. I went to him because I saw so many glowing reviews and he did ask me about them....But after all that I've gone through with him, there is no way that I would recommend his practice to anyone.

I agree, he is a total phony, loves his patient's money, but is truly lacking in his dental treatment skills, and if you have a significant amount of crowns/bridgework, he will systematically destroy your mouth overtime, doing little things that will make much larger problems. As for the gossiping I caught on to that 1 1/2 years ago, so the last time I was in there I totally lied about my personal life...I told him my husband was scum, lies, cheats, and made up other stories, and sure enough it came back to me through prior government employees. Nonetheless, please people you are all fools...do not believe him..he's all about the quick buck...(I have heard uses sub-standard materials...even makes crowns, etc. instead of sending them to appropriate lab). Hell look at all the additional equipment, he's turning that practice into one of the Las Vegas phony smile makeovers. Run...don't walk..trust me there are so many other "skilled" Dentists out there who are honest, have integrity, etc., If you need a smile makeover, go to someone in Prosthodontics...he is not qualified and lacks the real skills. Several people have complained about his so called make-overs. Go to someone that is a true "Professional" that had the passion from college days, and did not change course after BA in Finace, and JD Law, hindsight that should have been a red flag in itself, and then Denistry (he's in love with your money) and if you have any, don't tell him because he target your oral health for pricey treatments not warranted. His former employee is right, he's a phony.Quack, Quack, Quack...

I've been going to Dr. Jackomis for years and I couldn't be happier. He's very friendly and straightforward, and provides painless high-quality care. When we first went to him he didn't accept my insurance, but he went out of his way for us and had it added.

Also, disregard the one star rating, she's just spiteful that she got fired for forging prescriptions for herself.

DONT FALL FOR HIS FACADE!!! Rick Jackomis is the most unprofessional, two-faced person I have ever encountered. I worked for him, and know from experience that he violates HIPAA privacy laws on a daily basis. Beware of him asking personal questions about your life. Anything that you say to him, expect him to share it with his entire staff as well as other patients, regardless of how private, sensitive, or embarrassing the information might be. He has absolutely no respect for people's privacy and loves to gossip. He comes off as being so sweet and sincere, but he will talk trash about you as soon as you leave the room. I've seen him do it to virtually everyone he knows, even people he claims to care about. I don't know how this man sleeps at night, but I would not recommend him to anyone. It's a wonder that his blatant, and constant privacy violations haven't cause him to have his license revoked yet!
