Never! They have lots of business, but they do such a great job of never overbooking.

Absolute worst dentist in Charlottesville with zero feeling of responsibility for their patients. They prescribed my girlfriend antibiotics and painkillers on several different occasions for her intense tooth pain, ignoring the cause of the problem beneath a crown they installed a year ago. They ignored her plea for help on a Friday afternoon, ultimately requiring us to visit the emergency room twice over the weekend due to the septic shock she was suffering from the massive infection in her tooth (temp of 103 degrees). Blue Ridge Dental (they are amazing!!) performed an emergency root canal on Sunday afternoon and she was much better the next day - 72 hour nightmare over. Everyone we discussed this with, including the emergency doctors, said that the dentist was blatantly negligent for not ordering a root canal immediately after the first infection. Dentists are supposed to take responsibility for the work they perform, especially when it causes serious complications after the fact. This practice will only throw pills at you and leave you to suffer if you have complications following one of their procedures. 2 separate malpractice lawyers have urged us to sue, but we can't afford the cost. Hopefully we can get them to reimburse us for the costs incurred over the weekend (THOUSANDS!!).

This practice is about the money. Having to have root canals and crowns redone due to their inabiltiy to do good work.

When I first started seeing them the appointments were on time. Since opening the second office I've had two cancellations recently because of the unavailability of the hygienist. This last cancellation was unacceptable because the appointment had been scheduled two months in advance. They called me 2 weeks before the appointment to inform me that we need to reschedule. The wait has gotten longer and longer from when I first started seeing them. Their staff is very friendly and professional. They were nice and professional and always called me to remind me about my upcoming appointment. I felt very safe in their care but I can no longer put up with the lack of concern regarding my time. They have some internal issues that needs to be resolved. I would not recommend them as a choice if you value your time.
