Dr. Thaxton and staff are caring, highly educated professionals who treated me as if a member of the family. They explained what was going on in my mouth, what the options were to fix the problems, and the amount of money that it would take to accomplish the goals I set for myself. I found the entire experience to be a breath of fresh air. They even took a 3-D picture of my mouth and jaw and showed me what was going on. Seeing is believing and I am now no longer afraid of the whole process of going to the dentist.

From the wonderful lady who answered the telephone to the hygiene care and on to the care Dr. Thaxton provided, I was overwhelmed by everyone's exceptional knowledge and desire to please me.
I was given my treatment options with costs and they figured in my insurance donations before any treatment was provided. They spend a lot of time explaining everything to me, they were patient and very kind in calming any fears I had. Sedation options were discussed and I made my choices.
Each room had digital x-rays (less radiation + better x-rays), computers in each room, and inside my mouth cameras so I could see what they saw----very high tech and up to date. I asked what the MAGD in Dr. Thaxton's alphabet soup letters after his name ment and they said he has his masters in the Academy of General Dentistry which means more schooling and testing that makes him board eligible and only about 5% of general dentist have this.
I can highly recommend this office. They really care and I have never had people try to please me more

I visited with a tooth ache and without my consent I had a root canal with no insurance to pay anything. The dentist put a rubber block in my mouth for a couple of hours to hold my mouth open, My jaw hurt for several months. When I arrived they had a monitor to insert an object into my mouth and have me view the monitor to see germs! They also said that I needed other work immediately and after visiting another dentist I found out they were trying to rip me off. This has been a long time ago but I will never forget and always recommend friends to stay clear of these high gross artist.
