I WAS a patient of His since he opened up about 10 years ago. Had my wife and kids there.
My insurance changed and they TOLD ME that oh yes we take ETSU insurance. Only after having my teeth cleaned and my son's did we get the notification that they did not take HMO insurance. Which was printed on the front of the card. After trying to talk to them Leslie stated (office manager) she stated and I Quote - WE DO NOT CARE THAT YOU HAVE BEEN HERE FOR YEARS WE ARE NOT ADJUSTING YOUR BILL. This is even after I asked to meet me half way since they told me that we were covered.
I would not dare go to someone that did not keep their Word!!

My husband had a crown fall out, he was in so much pain, and we were new to town. We called so many dentists and no one could fit him in. Dr. Seaver got him right in, fixed him up, and got him pain free. We all (family of 6) eventually saw him. I have a HUGE fear of dentists and was so afraid, Dr Seaver and his staff were so great! I have never been so comfortable with any office. The entire office is very friendly, treat you like family!

I had a loose crown. I was new in town and trying to set up a cleaning, x-ray and a crown repair or re-attachment. They were extremely late in scheduling me a "work-in" or emergency treatment -- saying that I couldn't even go in for a cleaning for TWO MONTHS, and that it might take ANOTHER MONTH before my crown could be worked on. I asked if the dentist could see me first, but the said it was office policy to require a cleaning first -- two months from the time I called.

I requested a "work-in", but they said they were booked solid. I requested that someone call me if an opening became available -- the attitude of the staff made it clear that this was an inconvenience for them -- and I never received a follow-up call. I wasn't told anything about my dental procedure - other than to use toothpaste or analgesic jell to keep my crown sealed until the doctor could see me (months later). I feel like my appointment was pointless, nothing was accomplished. It's shocking how little they seem to care about customer service. From my experience It appears as if customers are never put first here. I finally set up an appointment with another dentist, who worked me in a week after my call.
