I’m not sure where to start except; DO NOT PAY IN FULL, UP FRONT BECAUSE YOU WILL BE TRATED UNFAIRLY! And when he decides he’s done, he will take off your braces leaving you with huge gaps and refusing to put them back on. Not that I would want them back on from him because the brackets kept braking and he REFUSED to fix them, leaving me with a one inch wire sticking through my guns!!! My mistake with this dentist was not understanding that he was NOT an orthodontist, but simply a dentist with promises to deliver [orthodontist-like] results. Big mistake not clarifying that requirement early on. Thorough my dissatisfaction.. I saught independent consults with 3 “real orthodontists” and who all independently said conventional braces would have the capability to move my teeth correctly. My choices were to start over and pay again for braces or live with the horrible work he has done. Lesson learned: go to practicioners with extensive specialized schooling in moving teeth... That's why they're called "orthodontists" rather than "dentists". Dentists are great at their specialty, but just because they may have done a ton of brace cases like my provider... It doesn't mean they're where you should go for service. They may simply be excellent at marketing. Hence ~ He teaches the classes for 6 month smile, ANY DENTIST CAN DO THAT, doesn’t mean they’re qualified.

Dr. Justin Holladay, DMD, at Carolina Forest Cosmetic Dentistry is by far the very best dentist with best dental staff in which I have been a patient in my entire life spanning over 50 years since my first dental appointment when I was a child. Dr. Holladay has a gentle demeanor and fantastic personality along with his staff. Dr. Holladay is knowledgeable of and uses the most up-to-date dental procedures, equipment and technology available in the dentistry field. My husband is also a patient of Dr. Holladay and is just as pleased as myself. Dr. Holladay is a perfectionist in his work and having had two recent crowns on my molars I can attest to his perfection. Dr. Holladay doesn't have large billboards or TV commercials advertising his dental practice. He is down to earth and relies solely on word-to-mouth. I hope you will consider scheduling an appointment with Dr. Holladay for a check-up or any dental issues you may have. You will be glad you did! .

This was my unanswered letter to Dr. Justin Holiday

Dear Dr Holiday,

Four years ago you gave me a permanent Bridge to my three front teeth.
Recently about a month ago one of my teeth that was connected like an anchor fractured. I went to see Dr Sarah Moskowitz.
She advised me that my tooth fractured and the only choice would be either implant or a partial. She also advised me that she never would have made a permanent Bridge with the attachment to the two teeth BC each attachment on both sides of the bridge was connected to a capped tooth with not enough strength to tolerate use. She said you should have placed stronger more secure posts before attaching the bridge or you should have recommended implants or a partial.
I called you and left a message for you call me as I wanted to give you the opportunity to say your side. If anyone invalidates something that I was responsible for I would have appreciated the same oppurtunity.
I received a call from one of your staff and explained my story to her.
I have to tell you I was disappointed when I never heard from you. A bridge should last 10 to 15 years. not 4 years.
You have good intentions I am sure. I would think perhaps your young and lack of experience may have been a factor. The extra money for the permanent bridge may have crossed your mind. I don't know. I only know that when I gave you one persons opinion of your work I never heard what you say.

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. I highly recommend them.

Bottom line: Terrible. They need to spend less money on appearance and more on quality of service. I could say it's convenient, easy to find, and they were friendly, but it doesn't matter if the fillings I had put in my front teeth fell out in 5 days. It was ridiculous. Teeth were filled on Monday, and by Thursday night, they were dissolved in my hand. Probably a watered-down version on composite. To make matters worse, they were not open on Friday, causing me to take time off work to drive around and find a local dentist who could take me that day for emergency procedure. To put this into perspective, I am in sales, my front had a hole in both of them due to damage from when I was a kid. Not a good scenario. Now I'm out $400 that my insurance co. would not reimburse due to them paying for the first procedure/timing policy. When you go to a dentist you expect them to do their job, just as my clients expect me to follow through on what I promise.

Ok dentist but they are crooks when it comes to billing. I paid my $50 deductible up front. EOB came and I saw I would owe more (was this first time they ever billed an insurance - couldn't they give me an accurate price up front). Anyway, they did not charge me the agreed upon price with insurance but the entire amount not covered without subtracting out contracted price. On top of that they charged extra 15% for being 15 days past due. What a sham.

I couldn't believe how great their office looked. It was very obvious that they took pride in the office's appearance. It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen. I've never had to worry about them being understaffed or not being able to help me right when I need it. Their prices were very fair. The level of care you get for the price is outstanding. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet, I just love this place.
